Actions you can take: 

  1. Sign the online petition to oppose the offshore LNG ports.  Citizens of all ages can sign the petition.  Also, download, copy, and distribute petitions to help obtain signatures.
  2. Watch this short video and forward on to your entire address book.
  3. Alert your friends, family, and co-workers about these threats to the ocean.  Urge them to sign the online petition or help collect petition signatures.
  4. Stay informed of this and other ocean pollution issues by signing up for "The Wave," Clean Ocean Action's e-alert system.

Actions for Organizations & Businesses

  1. Actions for Municipalities

Adopt a resolution opposing the LNG projects.  Citizens can also bring a sample resolution to their town council meeting and urge the council to adopt the resolution opposing the offshore LNG port facilities.
