Participating Organizations are the founding force behind Clean Ocean Action. Consisting of boating, civic, conservation, diving, fishing, student, surfing, real estate, religious, and women's groups, this "invincible coalition" has grown from 32 organizations in 1984, to 125 today. Participating Organizations have become a force to reckon with, commanding the attention of local, state, and federal legislators and other decision makers.
