Ride the Wave and Support a Clean Ocean!

Join surfers, ocean advocates, families, and beach lovers for the annual Clean Ocean Action Surf Open, a day of friendly competition and community spirit in support of a clean ocean!

The Surf Open brings together surfers of all ages and skill levels to celebrate New Jersey's incredible coastline while raising funds to support Clean Ocean Action's year-round programs protecting our ocean, beaches, and coastal communities.

Whether you're competing, cheering from the beach, photographing, or supporting a surfer, your participation helps advance efforts to reduce pollution, protect marine life, and help protect the coast and ocean for future generations.

Event Information

Location: Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park, Long Branch, NJ 
Date: September 26, 2026 - depends on weather and wave conditions
Format: Surf competition divisions for a variety of ages and skill levels
Who Can Participate: Open to surfers of all ages and abilities!
