COA welcomes Kate Shanley to our crew as Program Assistant.  In 2003, Kate spearheaded the summer COAST campaign as an intern for COA.  Kate returns to ocean advocacy after graduating in May from Towson University

with a Bachelor’s degree in both Political Science and Mass Communications.  Kate will use her creative public relations and communications skills, as well as her commitment to the community and marine environment, to assist with education, outreach, and development programs and events.
